Default 99 ram 1500 heater motor

anybody have to replace the heater motor in their 99 Rams? Mine has started squealing when it's cold so I want to see what's going on inside, could just be the cage or the motor's on it's way out. What's the quickest way to get to it? The Haynes manual isn't totally clear...

Its called a blower motor. Its on the underside of the passenger side dash. It is removed by 4 screws.
