Ram 2500 Running Bad
Thanks zman17 I plan on doing the plenum with the hughes kit. Even though it doesnt look like it is leaking. The cat was original cat and was falling apart and rattling. I just don't trust the gasket on it after reading about it on the forum. I checked down in the intake for oil and there is none. But that is beside the point i want to get it changed before I have a problem with it. Any more problems with it and Ill punch the cat out as there is no echeck around here. Could someone point me to where I can find the hughes intake please?
Thanks
Jon
Thanks

even though there is no oil, there will be. EVERY 3.9/5.2/5.9 magnum engine will have this problem
its a pretty easy job...ive done it twice, first time i forgot to put new o-rings on injectors, and they leaked...note: you do not have to remove fuel rail/fuel injectors when doing plenum
and i was off one on each prong on the cap so it misfired. The second time i did it, it was a breeze with no problems.(i did it again because i got a kegger intake from m boss' 5.2 and i got it port and polished and kegger modded. first time i put it back in full of oil/no kegger mod.
if your an average backyard mechanic you can do it. no special took except torque wrench and fuel line disconnect.
