Any idea why the amazon ad says this?

"Legal ONLY for racing vehicles/Not for use on emission controlled street or highway vehicles "

because of emission and vavle cover brether, the crankcase aire is not reuse( sucked to into motor

if you would emission testing in your state ge it test with stock box then and then go get the 14x3 back on

If you don't want to spend that kind of money, but want the K&N, do what I did. I went to summit racing, and bought the summit 14x3 kit that comes with a paper filter, and than bought the K&N filter to use with it. You won't need the spacer either with their's. with they're shipping charge, I paid less that $80 for everything.

The one I ordered on Amazon was $50 with a K&N filter. So, I got a great deal.

that is the same thing i did but mine was mr. gasket from the parts store, 27$.
i did go to the dealer for an air cleaner gasket though because the parts stores gaskets are a felt/rubber type deal and the dealer has solid rubber gaskets.

Got it installed today. I love it, and can already feel a difference. Wow, it sounds louder too.
