No offense to anyone but I just don't like the idea of stacking blocks, I'm just gunna stick with the 4'' AAL, and I can't wait to get this pig back on the road.

Would a 5'' block make it level? or would I need a 6'' block to replace the stock block.

You can put a 5' and stack it or a soild 6, it's basicly up to what you want, the main reason i didnt take out the stock is cause they sent me the wrong blocks when i orderd them so i didn want to wait another 4 weeks for the blocks.

yakkier, have you had any axle rap problems or anything like that? How does that set-up flex?

the factory blocks are already like 3 1/2 or 4 1/2 inches to add other 5 " block on top of that is just silly and dangerous. it put some serious stress on the springs..you wont find any reputable shop that would do it and thats for a reason...and I agree it would be one wheelhopping scary ride. Especially when one of the blocks work loose.... Every block manufacturer I have looked into has a huge warning never to stack blocks in their directions...its just not a smart thing to do in the long run when there are much safer other cheap alternatives like aal or shackle lifts...

As far as the axle rap problems im not really sure what you mean by that, but i have no problem flexing the suspenion if that's what you were refering to, they dont shift on heavy load or any thing of that nature. Next week i will be going on a trail ride with a couple buddys from work and i will take some pictures of the truck in action. the trail we're looking at will have a good bit of flexing and considering the ground is frozen. they'ers going to be a BUTload of rutt's left over from the logging trucks last fall.

Axle rap and wheel-hop are one in the same. I think I will go with a 4'' AAL and see how that goes. Will have before and after pics when done might get some new rims and tires.
