transmission prob

I've got a 98 ram 5.9L automatic and it will not shift automaticly. You can manualy put it into 1st 2nd and drive and it goes fine, it will also not go into overdrive. I have not yet pulled up the codes on it yet but im guessing it some kind of sensor. Any info would be helpful.

our trannys are weak, could be the sensor, or maybe a bad valve body
