and no on a car audio setup a low pass filter would filter out modulation (audio) over a specific frequency also know as a treble cut filter. only in LMR radios do they filter line "noise" such as HLGT, carrier squelch, ect.
I'm a communications tech so I can help with that stuff too.

 

Guys this was a question my friend brought up to me and I thought I would ask.As of right now I have a Pioneer Deck,2 Infinity 6x9s,5-1/4s and 12 inch subs in my truck!It is a monster in the sound department.Haha so miami son thanks for telling that one guy stop trying to spread negativity!
