You didn't give much info on it. This is a 1500?
You need to have it serviced. It could be a lot of things (too little/too much fluid, misadjusted linkage, something internal, etc).

You can do a full drum to disk conversion. Upgrade your front disks to 2500 or 3500 ones. Upgrade your rear drums to the chevy 3500 ones of same year ( i think its same year).

what about the 1 ton wheel cylinder upgrade? Also you can put dual piston calipers from an '01 on your truck. Of course, as purpl always reminds us, you'll have to put the knuckles on there as well.

Mowhawk, you should define 'just bolt up'. They are different axles. It is not a matter of pulling off your old calipers and putting on calipers from a 2500 or 3500.

The rotors are bolt up. Theyre still five lug, for the 2500. Im looking at them right now

I do not believe that is correct. A 3500 is an 8 lug. A 2500 (maybe depending on motor) is also an 8 lug. It will not go onto a 5 lug 1500.
