Default Question about lifting a 2x4

I just bought a 1998 ram 1500 2x4 and would like to make a lift kit for it. How high can I lift it in front with coil spacers without changing my shocks ore my Upper Control Arms.
Thanks

1.5in with out wanting to change your shocks

2.5-3in and then your in the ball park of changing shocks,,, maybe upper c-arm,, 3in you will be be changing out the c-arm

you want to look into a spindle lift 3-3.5 its around 300$,,, but you dont have to change your shocks and the truck ride is the same as stock
