Why can't you get a used junk yard one of the same year,motor,trans, and just have the dealer flash it.

the local salvage yard wants $150 for one and then the dealer wants another $100 to flash it and it has no warrenty. may as well get one from auto computer exchange and have a year warrenty and dont need to take to dealer for flashing

if you go with the refurb, you'll be required to return your old one as a core. don't send it back immediately. drive around with the new one for at least a few days just to make sure everything works ok. in the event the new one has a problem of some kind, it would be good to still have the old one available to put back in. refurb's are refurb's. they're not always perfect.

OK, I see. My local JY wouldn't charge more than $50.

our local salvage yards sqeesze every dime they can from the people of the big city of charlotte, yea it was a great thought though i thought about doing that but its probably best to get the auto computer exchange
