i dont have stuff to tow or lug...i hardly ever have anything in the bed, aside from the truck toolbox, and my regular toolbox. (the red thing in my sig....thats when there was snow in back too)

and the short beds are better in snow/mud, due to the more narrow wheelbase.....

But keep in mind you can fit more ladies in a long bed, or if you got some time on your hands you can build one of these bad boys. You could even run a line from your exhaust into the water and get your buddy on the gas if you want some bubbles.

well ill say this in a long beds defense..loading things arent a worry like you would with a short bed.."oohh is that gonna fit? i might have to borrow my buddies long bed" ya know

i mean honestly yes..say my truck RCLB vs my land lords new plow truck RCSB sport ram

the SB does a hell of lot better..even though mines got more new parts and such hes gets better traction at times compared to mine..

but he still calls me from time to time.."boy you need to get that piece fixed..i need to go to Lowes and pick of some lumber"

Long beds are great. I use mine to the fullest all the time. Plus I believe you get a bigger gas tank with the long bed.

Long beds have 36 gallon tanks. I have the 94 service manual and thats what it said. Besides I have put 34 gallons in mine.
