My blinkers started to go out slowly, they would blink then just stop even though they were on then they just stopped working all together. The hazards still worked btw. I replaced the relay and now the hazards do not work and when i turn the blinker on they come on but do not blink and just stay on. Any ideas?

 

Guess I'll get it out of the way.Have you checked your blinker fluid?

Have you replaced the multifunction turn signal switch? The hazard lights button is part of it. Known to fail now and then in our trucks.

 

well the signals turn on they just dont blink and my wipers and stuff all work. Would just the turn signal function break on it?

 

i had the EXACT same problem....and before i spent money on new switches etc. i checked the wires and found a bad ground at the rear of the chassis.

my problem consisted of this.

id turn on left blinker and reverse lights flashed. When i hit the brake, the reverse lights came on. No Hazards, when put into reverse there was no lights.

then it got wores to where nothing worked. the blinkers would flash on dash but not on truck. same with hazards, had no brake lights (had third brake light), reverse lights were very very dim.

but it was all from 1 ground wire.
