It sounds like a good deal.Depends on what your going to use it for as to how much $$ I would spend on it. The truck will never be worth $10k though.

 

Well I got a 98 2wd with only 84k miles for $750. The guy thought the transmission was blown but after towing it home, I flushed the fluid out multiple times and change the governor solenoid, and it has still been worry free for over a year and a half. I would go for it if I were you.
