Get rid of the Accel coil before it leaves you stranded. Yeah, I've been there, its not fun.

First, do a good tune up. Brass cap and rotor, good Champion copper core or NGK V-Power spark plugs, and since you are looking for performance, Magnecor spark plug wires (cmckenna did a nice little write-up on these wires a week ago). Run a can of Seafoam through the gas tank and another can through the brake booster line to get all that built up carbon out of your engine. Next, fix your leaking plenum gasket and even go as far as doing the Kegger mod (I have a write-up on the plenum gasket in the FAQ section). Now your engine should be runnin' really damn good.

One popular mod (and one that I will soon follow) is to get some Harland Sharp 1.7:1 Roller Rockers. They are rated for 15-20 horsepower and were designed specificly for the Dodge Magnum engines. You can get them from John Mercedes (He was the guy who designed them) at Southeast R/T for $332.

Tuner: If you want to go all out, get the SCT tuner. Its all custom tunes made specificly for the mods that you have done to your truck. More expensive than the Superchips "canned" tune, but if you are gonna do some serious mods to your truck, many would say its the way to go.

Depends on what cam you get. When you order, ask. They know more than me.

Harland Sharps are $332.

Almost $1000 for a cam, some lifters and a timing chain? **** no, thats a horrible deal. Like I said, give KRC Performance a call and they will find you a cam for what you want.
