so your telling me if i flush the trans lines and buy a after market trans it should last longer than 70K.

 

My automatic transmission will not engage form a stop. I have drained the fluid,replaced the filter and pan gasket. I really need to know how to adjust the bands. It will only take off from a stop if I drop it down into 1st. gear.
Anyone know how to adjust the bands on a 2001 ram 1500 V6 3.9 L.

I would suggest starting your own thread in order to resolve your tranny issues. Then we can take it from there...No thread jacking, except when I do it. Then it's okay.
