Default Drive Shaft Dent

Hello all..
Well I started my transmission project and removed the rear drive shaft and noticed a dent about 5 inches long and about a 1\4 deep. Is this shot or is it still acceptable

All that may be wrong with it is out of balance, bent, or weakened.
I would get another one.

Deff get a new one, i actually did the same thing on my 1st gen ram. i was pulling one of my grain trailers and ended up snapping the driveshaft 50miles away from anywhere to get the parts i needed.

it broke where the dent was and mine wasnt as long or as deep as the one on yours
