Default Dodge Ram Exhaust Help

I am going to be buying a new exhaust sometime in spring. I will be adding Hedman Heddars and a flowmaster super 44 muffler. I am wondering what kind of piping would be best. I'm thinking 2.5 inch to the tips and particularly what size? My friend and I are thinking about 3 inch tips. He has 3 inch tips and they sound nice but I am wondering if 4 inch tips sound any better??
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

The size of your tips doesnt mean squat. They are just to look nice.

2.5'' dual or 3'' single is the standard.

tips do make a difference the bigger the tip the deeper the tone. same as piping. the smaller the tips the more popping you get the larger tips get deeper tone and less popping

I am going to keep the lift stock. I definitely love the deep tone thats why I am going with the Super 44 over the super 40. Thanks a lot for the help.

I've actually heard a lot of people say they prefer 2.25" pipes if going duals over the 2.5". 3" does seem to be the standard for single exhaust though. I personally went 2.25" when I redid mine just as I read you lose less back pressure and keep more low end that way.
