Leaking exhaust manifold problems ?

On a off note,i just bought a new IAC motor and the old one is black as hell, i stuck my finger inside the port and it's got some carbon build up inside. im out of Seafoam but i do have a fresh can of MAP sensor cleaner would that work to clean out the carbin ?

yes, spray it out with carb cleaner, wd-40, a little gas, or anything to clean the well and the port. don't let the little red straw blow down in the plenum. make sure the port in the bottom of the well if fully open.

exhaust manifold problems won't have anything to do with starting problems.
