Cool Changed IAC motor and cleaned out holley. Pic's and video inside!

Okies so been having some starting problems, i seafoamed my truck today along with changing both positive and negitive battery clamps. put in a new IAC motor because the other one was COVERD in carbin and caused it to get stuck open, also ended up going ahead and pulling off the throttle body and giving it a good cleaning, didnt get it as clean as i wanted to but im going to be ordering a new holley later in the coming months when or IF i replaced my plenum and do a kegger mod.

After doing all of that i dont want to say i notice a difference because time will tell when it sits up over night and i goto crank it in the morning, usually the longer it sit's the harder it is to fire.

ok so here comes the pics.

Old Idle Air Control Motor/valve which is a crappy pic but trust me it looked alot worse in person

Here's the holley throttle body, top isnt all that bad.

Heres the bottom which on the otherhand is coverd in crap.

Heres what the inside of the Keg looks like

Heres the holley again after i soaked it down with carb cleaner and whiped it down.

And the bottom, BIG improvement. There is still some burnt on stuff but it wasnt coming off.

And here is the new IAC installed.

Alright here is a video of what it's doing now, i have see a small improvement in the idling but something has me a little curious. Watch my tach as i rev the engine, my lights dim a little bit and the rpm's will drop for a split second then level out. It's never done that before so i dont know if it's supposed to or if there's something else going on.

Opinion's and comments are welcome!

did you reset pcm after doing this? if not, do so.
it looks like the rpm's are dropping a tad low and then having to recover. pcm reset might correct it.

did you replace IAC or just clean it ?

How much did that cost you? My truck idles a little low. That should help, right?

By the way, get a fastman TB. Very good mod.

The IAC ? cost me about 35 bucks including tax at autozone. it's idling alot smoother than it was but my whole reason behind taking it appart was my starting problem.
