New owner, truck starving for fuel
If the voltage is low, the pump will not work as fast thus, the lower output.
I have bought a cheapo pump at AZ ONCE- and, it DIED after one week of use. Carter pumps are decent- not bad for what they cost and, the filter is of better quality than of those plastic mesh screen type of filters found on low-budget / low quality all plastic pumps.
Proper fuel spec for your year is 49psi ± 5 psi Anything below that is out of tolerance / spec.
Check it while warm and with it running. Monitor pressure. If it meets spec, proceed to check for leaks by monitoring pressure while vehicle is off. Spec is to HOLD 30 psi for a MIN of 5 minutes.
If it fails to hold pressure for 5 minutes @ 30psi- there's an issue.
-leaky injector
-bad regulator valve at pump
-gross fuel leak at the following points:
a. fuel supply line at the quick connect
b. fuel rail inlet
c. x-over line (hungry rodent) Hey, don't laugh, it has been known to happen - someone reported it on here in fact.
d. fuel rail leak
e. fuel injector O-ring seal
f. leaky fuel injector (valve is stuck partially open due to obstruction or seized motor)
Start with those if your trying to root out fuel system issues.
It can't be the ASD relay for if it were, it would never run due to all power being cut. This would cause no voltage at the COIL thus NO SPARK so, it can't be an ASD relay issue.
IT COULD BE however, a blown fuel pump relay in the PDC or, simply, a blown fuel pump fuse.
Turn the key to <ON> and listen for the fuel pump motor whine: NO SOUND IS HEARD- pump may not be working.
CHECK relay and fuse first as it's quicker and easier. Then if those pass, check voltage at the connector at fuel pump.
I did note that your measuring 48 psi which indicates pump is working to some degree. However, to have it just cut out while the other systems see power such as the ignition system and EFI system- to me, it almost sounds like it's isolated to your fuel pump.
Start there.

Thanks to everyone that helped. I would've been lost without u guys. I'm glad there are still people out there willing to help a stranger. Found out that my mechanic didn't install the crank sensor right, back before the fuel pump went out, and it malfunctioned. Now truck is running great all thanks to you guys. Thanks so much everyone!
