95RAM360: This is really off topic, but did you have a problem getting inspected with that rust, or do you know a guy?

no no problem with rust because the rockers are actually covered, and filled with fiberglass and bondo, but its not sanded, or painted

Here in MA it's not allowed; any rust is a saftey failure, and with that you can't drive the car on.

Alright, thanks. I'll jsut duct tape mine and paint it body color, stupid MA.

MA is not strict on rust....i worked in an inspection station and if they had rust we passed them. its not like body rust is going to affect the way it drives, thats how my boss put it to me...but it were frame rust, then that would be an issue

I think you have body and frame rust confused. Frame rust would cause a failure, but if my fenders are rusting, it isnt going to pose much of a safety concern, although I could see rusted through rocker panels, floors, and other structural body metal (Core Supports, bumpers) posing a safety concern.
