Hypertech makes a max energy programmer for 97-03 dodge rams with the 5.2 and 5.9. They are about $329.99 new but i've seen some on craigslist for $100 and i missed out. Keep your eyes open.

I talked to hemifever when I got my SCT and he said I could use one of these. I also know may be year specific but most dealerships can do the adjustment if it is just tire size. Not sure if that is OBD1 or 2 specific.

Yeah one thing the superlift does that if I am not mistaken Superchips does NOT is it also lets you adjust for gears. I have larger tires and will be doing a gear swap.

I was wondering that too. I remember a thread was posted a while back on here about that. I remember reading that superchips do work on the 97's. I searched for it but cant find it.

So do you know for sure if they will work on the 97's?
