I though 4 independent doors were Crew Cabs

 

2 doors- Regular Cab
2 doors w/ rear seats- Club Cab/extended Cab
4 doors (2 rear suicide doors)- Quadcab

 

This is wrong, wrong, wrong! As it pertains to 2nd Gen Rams, the Club Cab is a two door with a rear seat. A Quad Cab has 4 doors, the rear ones being half size and opening suicide-style. A Crew Cab would be 4 normal sized doors opening traditionally. There was no Crew Cab offering in 2nd Gen Rams.

 

on cars.com they got a 2nd gen 2500 v10 with 4 full size doors. somebody's got some serious fab skills

2 regular doors, then the 2 half doors is a QUAD CAB., but you should get some better pics of that truck.

 

One day around town I saw one that had two full doors and enough rear cab room to make another set of full doors but there was none. It was like a limo ram kinda. Does any body know what im talking about or am I crazy.

 

Since my '04 with 4 doors is called a Quad Cab, a 2 door with a rear seat is called an extended cab, how about this be called a 4 door extended cab. Concidering a club or crew cab is also recognized as 4 full doors it only makes since. As for KBB, use what is worth the most for that year. I never heard of a quad cab until the 3rd gen came out. If the buyer understands what he is getting, that's all that matters.

I've seen that damn thing. I was walkin across the road in town and I almost got ran over by it. I stared for a good 5 minutes all bent out of shape about it.
