What benefit are the valve covers from the stock ones?

 

They look better. That's about it. Some aftermarket rocker arms need the extra clearance, so that might be one other reason to get them.

 

Yeah they look a lot better, and if you plan an replacing them (Which I do, because mine look like crap. then I would prefer some thing that looks nicer.

Hey Silver, those APS oil bafflers, does that purchase come with two? Or just one for the side that will have the holes plugged with the grommets. And do those valve cover's come with the grommets.

 

Mine came with the grommets and two caps, but I've heard of guys getting them without grommets for some reason.
APS sends two baffles.
