I heard, threw the DF, that the best O rings you can buy are the Fel Pro one's because they are made out of Viton. Apparently, that's suppose to be good.

You probably already know this, but you're gonna want to install the fuel rails before putting the intake back on. It's a huge pain in the butt to install the fuel rails when they're still connected to the fuel lines.

Like others said, smear some motor oil on the o-rings first. The last thing you want to do is rip a chunk off one of those rings. I did, and I couldn't believe how much gas went shooting all over the engine bay.

You also may want to replace the coolant bypass hose while you're in there. They tend to rip easily, especially while doing a plenum job. I know from experience, there's nothing worse than putting everything back together just to find out you've got a coolant leak.

Well, kegger mod and poorman's mod are complete. The kegger mod was a PITA! I was using my buddies sawzall, and I started to cut and realized the blade was dull, and he didnt have another one, so it took a long while to cut! Hughes plenum plate it back on and torqued. Injectors back on with new Fel Pro o-rings. Just waiting on the wife to get done shopping, so I have a ride over to my other buddies garage, where the truck is at! Not real thrilled about carrying intake, gaskets, bags of tools 4 blocks to the other garage.

I have been taking pics, so I will post them up within the next few days.

Thanks guys!

All is back together and running well! I can tell the kegger mod and poorman's definately opened it up! Pulls harder through the gears and really sets me back in my seat. Will install the SCT software this week, after I can get a good feel for what all the kegger/poorman did for me. Also replaced spark plug wires. I noticed a sloshing noise under the passenger side that I havent heard before...I guess I will use the search feature and figure it out, cause I know I have ran across it before...

Look at all that room!

Not much oil, but still needed replaced.

Runners cut

Poorman's tb mod in progress (notice all the broken cut off wheels!)

Hughes plate installed and torqued.

There are more pics in my gallery, if you would like to take the time to look and critique. Thanks for all the help along the way!

nice job.

sloshing is just an air pocket in the heater core. it might work out on its own in a few days.

Thanks. I think I will try putting the passenger side tire up on a ramp, and see if that trick works with getting all the air out. Burped the hoses until no more air came out.
