Hey guys, I have an old dakota but my dad has a 2000 Ram 2500 long bed V10 that he uses as a plow truck. It runs great but his exhaust rusted out on him and were having trouble locating a replacement like the original. Any help appreciated. Did the v10's have single exhaust originally because ours has duals? It was bought used so we were wondering if it has a different exhaust on it.

They did ususally have dual cats from the factory that went into a Y-pipe.

 

The headers went in to dual cats then into single muffler then single pipe....

 

mine is dual cats into 1 muffler, single out, oddly the pipe diameter is 2 1/8" I.D. and 2 1/4" I.D. coming off the muffler???????? i would have thought for sure that would have been bigger, as far as i can tell mine is still original.
