Question Gasket foam around headlight bulb/socket!?

I have recently purchased some new headlight housings for my truck and the reason for this is because the old ones are missing the gasket thing made of foamish rubber around the bulb/socket that keeps the condensation out of the housing and more air tight. My old ones are soaking wet and corroding! I think it is because of these gaskets missing!? Can I just get the gasket things or do I need to wire up new headlight bulb sockets with the new gaskets!? I want to do this before putting my new ones in.

Or does anyone have any other ideas on this!?

Thanks in advance.
Brendon.
