You could cut your exhaust off and dump it with a 10 series flowmaster that would be stupid loud, or cut the tailpipe off and put a turn down on existing muffler if moneys tight for loudness. Get a 14x3 air cleaner there about 30 bucks. Thats about 50 bucks for turn down tip and air cleaner . Look up on youtube for soundclips and what ppl have for an idea of different sounds your looking for. Also check out summit racing and type in your truck year ,make, model and you can search a ton of produts for your year..

I would go with slash cut , a rolled tip sometimes u get a different kinda noise when the exhaust exits and hits the rolled edge of the tip. so get the hacksaw, reciprcating saw, or cutting torch and have fun

A cheap glasspack with duals and 3" inch tips will suit your needs. My exhaust man done mine back in the day for about $160 and sounded great!!

They did have the cackle, but I was in to that when I was younger. It now has a hollowed converter with the stock muffler, nice mellow tone.

The engine light will stay on but oh well, as long as I know what's causing it. 172k miles and it runs better.
