You can't install a AFR gauge on the stock O2 sensor. The stock sensor is a narrow band sensor and only shows <14.7 =14.7 or >14.7. You need to get a wideband O2 sensor and controller to use that gauge. Unfortunatly the wide band and controller are $200+. Innovate sells good quality ones.

You can get a reading off the narrow band, just wont be accurate WOT, need wide band for that. Few years back I was tuning my MP PCM with an SMT6 piggyback. I was getting the signal for the smt6 a/f from my stock narrowband, I also had(still have) an AEM digital a/f with Bosch wide band o2 (FAST wb also now). Closed loop the narrow band readings were almost identical to the wideband readings. WOT though the narrow band was erratic compared to the wideband readings.

Ill see if I still have my schematics for the smt6 & what wire I pulled the signal from.

Indy question for ya. On my wide band when I let off the gas it goes lean which is gonna happen. Is there a way to tune for it not to do that or is that ok? I'm new to all this stuff
