just don't cut yourself, and don't let the grommet pieces drop into the valve cover or you'll have to remove it after all.
If it all possible, I'd stay away from rubber parts in the HELP! section of the auto parts stores. The rubber is typically poor quality and cracks way too easily. Tie rod boots, for instance, last about a month. Ford PCV grommets last about 2-3 months, etc.

This issues has been covered like 100 times.. and if you read the owners manual.. it would tell you what the rubber hose thingy is that connects to some piece of metal that makes loud noises is called
in the future... do a search...and if your local auto parts store didn't know what a pcv valve is... I wouldn't shop there anymore and would consider robbing them in the near future because they prolly are dumb enough to fork over the cash
