Transmission length??

Does anyone know if there is a difference in length between the a518-rh and a good old 727? I'm thinking about the possibility of swapping an a518-rh into my Fifth Avenue and just wondering if I would need to get a drive shaft made.

The A-518 is at least 6 in longer because of the OD unit. You would have to measure both to know for sure. It all depends on the length of your current tailhousing.
