It seems the general concensus is they are only good for another 30k miles or so.

I ordered one from Milleneum Transmissons out of Arizona. No core charge and a 2 year warrenty for $1,162 shipped. Their customer service has been helpful so far. I just wish they were a bit quicker. Its been over 2 weeks. Advance Auto remans are $1,500. I was a little suspicious about the low price, so I called and asked what is replaced in Milleneum's trannies. The guy told me that AZ law requires a replacement of 75% of parts to be considered remanufactured. He told me it includes the usual seals, bands, clutches, and other wear parts. They also replace the pump and send the tranny with a new torque converter. I'll let you know more as soon as I get the sucker and get it bolted in.
