Default 2000 Ram 1500 issues X-/

So, new to the board, I apologize if I'm violating any rules, but I've got an issue with my truck. I drove it home this past Tuesday night, and I went to start it wednesday morning and it wouldn't turn over. Have since replaced the battery, distributor cap and plug wires. We managed to start it today, but it didn't idle at all(stalled whenever you took your foot off of the gas) and ran really heavy,it was also blowing out plumes of black smoke at startup, and lots of white smoke while running. I can't seem to figure out at all what is going on with it. Maybe spark plugs? Or something more serious?I'm desperate.

It may be as simple as letting the PCM relearn after a battery change. But it is possible that the IAC (idle air control) sensor is damaged or the TPS (throttle position sensor) is damaged. You might also find some useful info in this thread https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...ont-start.html. Welcome to DF
