Default Harland Sharp Roller Rockers: Aka poor man's cam

AKA: Inept man's camshaft

But do I get the 1.6 or 1.7

Looking for BOLT ON, not having to get new springs. HOWEVER, I would get the 1.7s if all I needed to do was install new springs and they would still clear the pistons.

Anyone have these? I am thinking they would go well with the F1 intake and a SCT with the stage 2 or 3 from hughes.

You want the non adjustable 1.7rr they give a bit more lift (about .030) and slightly bit more duro. You can run up to a krc210x cam with the 1.7rr before clearnance is an issue.

Ive got the HS adjustable 1.6 on my 408

do i need the stud girdle on a 5.9 magnum? Or were you just showing off

Looks really nice. I am jealous. Now you made me want to buy a 408. How hard is that swap? And when i say hard...i am talking about things like finding the right PCM program, selection of injectors, camshafts.

Not the labor, but finding the right mix of everything ELSE you need to do.

And what tranny are you running? I have been looking at Dr Evil for a while now.

I meant to say pedestal, not girdle. How much extra is the pedestal?

Are these the ones? Seems like they make about 6 different sets of 1.7s and these are one of two that are ADJUSTABLE RRs. The other ones were not in stock.

You just need the 1.7rr (non adjustables, last link Beast posted) and nothing else unless you go to larger than stock cam. If you go to bigger cam that puts you above 450 lift then you need springs & retainers and pushrods.

If I was showing off, would of posted this pic too lol

408 is just the Magnum 360 block, 30 over with a 4" crank instead of the stock 3.58" stroke. You can take your 318 to 390 safely with 4" stroke(3.31stk) & 30 over (402 w/60 over but thats crazy)
Taken me years to gather all the parts I want/need. trans is PATC Ramzilla stgIV, P1 9.5" 3800stall, Aeromotive Eliminator fuel system, mp pcm controlling trans only, FAST standalone controlling the mtr. Labor costs only been machine work & trans. Doing as much as I can myself so thats added to time as well as backorders on most parts I seem to order. Buddy put my short block together, Ill be powder coating a bunch of pieces for his 454 hes building (Mopar r3 small block)
