That too! LOL If you push/pull or twist it with your fingers, there is a real good chance of damage occurring.

Well it works fine on the truck. Actually improved my throttle response a tad... I also replaced the TPS... So its probably a combination of both together... And if I would have messed it up id just have replaced it with a new one... I found it for 35 bux brand new...

zman is right. Playing with either TPS or IAC with your fingers (twisting, turning, pushing, pulling, anything) is not recommended, as others have found it damaged them and then they didn't work properly. You got lucky, tinkerinman.

I guess so... lol Thats what the threads are for.. For ppl to view and learn if they do not know. I may laugh but some see as useful... I get that. Im just simple minded I guess to say. Just meant that its not like Id be stuck w/o the truck for weeks bc I did it.... lol The old one was stuck... and had like an 1/8 inch of carbon covering the whole spring and plunger...
