I've got a question about the Mopar Evs II keyless entry remote electronic security system in my '96 Ram that I'm hoping some one can help with. Here goes. When I first got the truck (last Saturday) I could unlock and lock it from my parents kitchen table while it was safely parked in their garage. Now, I have to be within 3 or 4 feet of the truck, and sometimes even inside it, before it will lock/unlock using the remote. I went to Best Buy on Monday and bought a replacement battery for the remote and installed it and that didn't help at all. I've never had a vehicle with an alarm in it so, I am not sure if I've pushed a button somewhere that I shouldn't have or what I've done. If you can help me out, please let me know!

no, you might however wanna cling under the dash and trace the antenna and see whaer eit goes, try repositioning it
usualy runs upt he pillar on the drivers side
