Hi guys,
I've got some sort of electrical problem I could use a little help with.
I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 2wd with the 318 motor.
My truck will start and run perfect for 5 or 10 minutes then just like you turn off the key it shutsdown. Then a few hours later it will do the same thing start up run great shut down. Can't trust it to drive anywhere.No check engine light on,I have swapped out the asd relay,don't really know what sensor might be the problem. It kills power to fuel pump ignition system an and dash guages. sometimes it takes as long as 2 days before it will start again. It's driving me nuts sure could use a little advice with this problem.

ever had any issues with the ignition switch? might be on its way out

 

Haven't had any problems as of yet but it's worth looking at.
At this point i'm pretty much stumpped.
anything ealse you guys can think of would be greatly appreciated.
