damn thats original, never heard of the baking soda trick, iv used salt to blast cast iron but id think baking soda would just turn to dust. i'll give that a try also

That is cool as hell lol if my compressor wasnt so freaking loud i'd run to the store an buy a bigass box of baking soda and do it right now.

I wonder if that trick will work on parts that are too big to soak? Spray and rinse with a bucket of warm water....could be worth a try?

BTW...I gotta stop hanging out on this site....I've no business spending money on whats not broken, but now I WANT one of them TB's. And I don't really have a good reason.
