Default LA Block in 1994 Ram?

Will it work if i put a 70's 318 in my truck? Had to low of oil pressure last week and now its got a ticking noise and with 260,000 I miles don't want to take any chances because its my daily driver... its a 1973 Block with a 511 lift cam for 250 duration was building it for my 78 ram. Just wondering if this would still work.

Do a search or look back a few pages. I just covered this for a guy a day or two ago.
