Default 15" Wheels on my 1995 Ram

Hello everyone ,

This is a stupid question...but has anyone put 15" steel wheels from a geo tracker on a Ram? I know the bolt pattern is the same but will they rub? I want to get a set of 35" tires and I can get a good deal on 35" x 12.5 x 15 's .....the 315/75/16 are about $50 more for each tire. Thanks in advance.

Geo Trackers dont have the same 5x5.5'' bolt pattern that our trucks do? Dont they?

My first concern would be that the load rating of a Tracker and a Ram is much different!

Just cause there is 5 lug nuts doesn't mean its the same bolt pattern.

Actually I think the geo is the same bolt pattern as us 5x5.5 I'm almost positve they are, I know the samuri's have the same bolt pattern as our trucks and I think the geo and samuri are interchangeable

I would be more worried about weight ratings of the rims a geo only weighs 2000lbs max

suzuki samuri/sidekick and geo tracker were one and the same it was all in the marketing...now its marketed as a chevy better than the new daewoo/ chevy avaeo I guess...
I would also think the backspacing would be different as well as weight rating They are also very thin rims from what I remember when we pulled the crappy factory rims off a friends 94 tracker and replaced them with steel wheels and all terrains....(I still had to pull him out of the mud with my jeep all the time )

I had to put a leveling kit to fit 32 10.5 15 on my 97 and even at full turn i still rub a hair. but i had bushwacker fender flares on i took them off and I don't have that problem anymore. But it is still close.
