While it is a good idea, it's really not possible for DF. Most of those forums that you see that offer "premium" memberships are ones that are privately owned. See, DF is owned by Internet Brands, and they keep up with the site upkeep. They make their money with all the annoying advertising that you see around the site.

It's a good idea, but keep in mind that the more complex we get, the higher the cost becomes. Not to mention, this site isn't just about rams, and if this goes site wide, 3rd gen owners aren't going to want a 2nd gen ram on their window, just as you all wouldn't want a 3rd gen on yours.

Some of the things that put a sour taste in Pat's mouth the last time was the fact that people wanted all these different colors and it took him a long time to get rid of them. Not to mention that there are some that never got sold....

IMO, we'll have better success with this if we keep the decal as simple as possible so that all members are appeased.

i think its bold yet easily readable and would look awesome on any style of car,truck,van,station wagon, or what have you

 

i think like pat said is to just do maybe white and silver they are universal with any color paint or we could just do silver it goes good with any color paint and doesnt clash with most colors of dodge products

 

Here is my idea. Typed out in the dodge font with the D and F double the font size as the rest and the dodge emblem in the background. The background would be clear, I just made it black to make the white and grey stand out. Size = 9" x 2.5"

We need to have a design-off contest to vote for the best one. I think the only colors that we should have are just red, white and blue.

As for the picture thing, that wouldn't be our only one if we did it like that. Each forum section would have the responsibility of making their own picture if they wanted? Or maybe the vehicle picture thing would be a part that is bought separate from the DodgeForum decal. Maybe we would have to have people pay before they're made so that there are no unsold ones.

Just tossin' out more ideas.
