Mods that won't void warranty?
I know that anything MOPAR is ok. But what can I do if I have the factory extended warranty?
I wanted to upgrade to a B&G PCM, MSD, Dual electric fans, underdrive pulleys, and Harland Sharp roller rockers.
I know that smog headers are legal. But is there anything else?

PS I know this is weird since most here do not have warranties. I was one of them when I had my 1996. But my truck only has 45K now, and is good until 100K and/or may 2012.
BTW, does the member named PartsService still frequent this forum? I have been away for a year and I don't see some of the old guys.
Also, the hughes airgap...that would probably void a warranty.

Just a friendly note, but you can edit your previous post and add things to it, rather than posting three times in a row.
Not necessarily. Depends on the exact wording of the "warranty", which I'm guessing is more of a extended service contract than an actual warranty. Correct me if I'm mistaken.
Most likely void your service plan as you are changing from the Chrysler factory programming.
Most likely void your service contract due to the fact that you are changing how spark is delivered to your engine. A MSD box is very different than, for example, using non-recommended spark plugs.
Changes how your engine is cooled. Whether its actually better or not, its not how Chrysler originally did your engine cooling, therefore most likely void the contract.
May not void the whole contract (although that is possible), but definitely anything hooked up to your serpentine (sp) belt.
Most likely void the contract because you are changing a major engine component(s).
It depends on how the service contract is worded, and how sharp your stealership's mechanics are. Some may notice things and use them to get out of the contract if they get the opportunity, some may not notice it. Something like an under-drive pulley or roller rockers (unless you take off the covers) are harder to see/find then a MSD system or electric fans.
Not to be Mr. Buzz Killington, but yeah, service contracts vary greatly depending on exactly who they are offered by and how they are worded.
