I have a 2001 Dodge RAM 1500 SPORT with the offroad package, 35 inch tires rub in front looking for 3 inch lift been told no lift available for this truck. HELP

 

Any 5" lift for a normal Ram will equal a 3" on your ORE. Yes they will fit.

 

Where do you get that from?

Swapping out for a 5" removes all the ORE lift, which is basically the front coils, at least with this type of lift (e.g., BDS)

I'd say the same thing for a 3" lift too. (e.g., skycracker)

I've never come to find out why some of the kits state "not for use with ORE". I guess I would have found out had I done such a kit as I've opted for custom piece together.

As for shocks for 3" lift, you can also purchase those separately from SJ from their 3" kit, as an example. Similar can be done for other kits if you prefer other shock brand.
