wheel spacers
any body ever use wheel spacers just wandering if they are safe i just got this truck about a month a go and it came with brand new bfg 315/75R16 scrubs if i turn the wheel all the way ripped one of the lugs off i Lent my lesson but my my wife wants to drive it and she want pay attention liable to rip the whole tire off and on more thing how can you tell if the suspension is stock?
If you're rubbing your control arms that bad and you put spacers on it you're just gonna rub your fenders. You need at least a 3" lift for that size tire. I've run spacers on other vehicles and had no problem. But it will be more strain on your wheel bearings and balljoints. As far as the suspension goes by looking at your sig it doesn't appear to be lifted cause those tires look stuffed in there but post some pics and it would be easier to tell. You can look for spacers above the coil springs, our stock control arms are pretty much c-channel and most aftermarkets are round, a much bigger than stock overload on the leadsprings. Those are just a few things.
