need help finding stub shaft
Sorry for posting this. I have tried to search the forum but am using dial up and its getting to be a pita to try and find the answer with this slow crap....
I am replacing the hub assembley and ujoints in my front end. got the drivers side done and went to tackle the pass side. Well i took the cotter pin out and got the axle nut off half way with then it stopped. I finally got it off only to find that the back half of the nut threads are gone and two rows of threads are gone on the shaft. I have hit every junk yard around here and only one of them had it and they want 170 for it because they wont sell me just the outter shaft it comes with the pass side axle also. The dealer ship wants 204 for the outter shaft(stub shaft) and it will take 4 to 5 days for them to get it. Just need help finding one either online or if someone has one laying around. I did find one new for 150 shipped but cant find it again. Its a 99 ram 1500 rear wheel abs. thanks and sorry again for the post.

If Oriely's doesn't have it, then there is another junkyard you need to look at...
It's R&R salvage if memory serves me. Located in Aurora about 30 minutes from joplin I would think. Just depends on how you drive.
