Default OD switch

ok, i got my truck back finally... the one thing i know needs to be replaced is the switch on the column that turns the overdrive off....

my queston is, do i have to replace the whole column, or the shifter, or can i take that end apart and do jsut that?

pretty sure you can just change out the switch itself, not sure how it comes apart though. Worst case scenario you could swap the whole stick, which may actually be easier to do.....

ok....as far as i know...dont quote me.....you can just change the switch. it pops right off the shifter and i believe you just cut the wires and solder the new ones in. ill look into it, my buddy changed his 2x so i will check when i see him later tonight at the fire house and get back to ya. i hope that trans has finally had enough of giving you a hard time and just acts right now. best of luck with it
