Easy fix, don't go 115 in a full-sized pickup.

https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...djustmant.html It could be numerous steering componets, but i did this and it helped a-lot , now I dont look like a drunk driver going down the road, lol

I just did this adjustment.

It says don't overtighten as to not to "Bind".
Maybe this sounds stupid but how do you know if you are "binding"? will you hear it?
The reason I ask is because I had about 2-3 inches of play in my steering wheel and I adjusted it the way it said to but went about 1 to 1 1/4 turn I am thinking and the hex bolt would not turn anymore. But now my steering is nice and tight. But because I drove it loose so long I can't tell if it is too tight or not. It seems fine with the exception I noticed I have a upper ball joint which puts some play into my steering and will fix that this week, but other than that play it feels "tight" but not "binding" I guess?

BTW very simple to do. I was shocked how easy it was. So easy it almost scared me!!!lol

welcome to the club guys!

Mattv, you will know if it's too tight if it won't return to center after turning... It would kinda 'stick' wherever it's turned to... if it's working fine then you are probably ok
