Default Installing transmission front pump

I have a bad leak at my front pump. I have replaced the front pump seal and the leak persists.

From what I understand a bad front pump can push the fluid out of the seal so I will be replacing the pump.

I have never installed a front pump before so any tips or info regarding would be appreciated.

My plan of action is to use the bolts to line the pump up then tap it into place with a mallet.

Thanks,
Curt

You may need a slide hammer to get it out.

Thanks,

I have that part taken care of. I just looked through the manual and the install seems to be pretty straightforward.
