My wife did the exact same thing to my truck.... seized that idler and chewed up the belt.... she didn't eat it however

I only replaced the idler and belt, not the tensioner

my idler has black streaks all over the pulley? Just noticed it....and i hae a new belt, and the belt looks fine....what would leave the black streaks?

A slipping belt melting onto the pulley.

Rotten little bedwetter is wedged in the Power Steering Pump Pulley. Don't suppose there's an easy trick to pulling that pulley off...?

A few precision incisions with my ultility knife and I'm on the road.

Here's the source of all the joy..... hmm, pic won't load. Oh well.


Now, about those flat leaf springs.....
