NEED HELP ON FANS

Trying to change out the water pump and I can't figure out how to remove the fan, PLZ HELP.

what year?? I jsut did my 360.. man what aPITA.. there is atool you can get to fit in the holes to keep it from turning.. spanner wrench i thnk its called....
