when adding a plug, it just like draining the oil from your motor,,,, its a hell alot easyer and clean to change the tran fuild with the plug than the droping the pan and fuild going every where

A steady hand and one of those rectangle drain pans along with removing the correct bolts before letting the pan down will make it so you won't spill a drop.

Thats not the point of putting a drain plug in. You put the plug in so when you take the pan off to replace the filter, the pan is not full of fluid. It makes things so much eaiser.

Yea i kinda wish i had one already, ****in garage floor is stained to hell now with trans fluid, i got it about 3/4 of the fluid out then took the last bolt out and hit the damn exhaust pipe and knocked the pan outta my hand, rest of the oil went on the floor.

^that sucks....in the garage i use to work at, we were doing a tranny flush, i had the boss right next to me (he was 74 years old at the time) and i was taking out the pan, and when i budged it free, ALL the fluid went all over the boss lol.....he looked at me, and i thought he was going to stab me or something lol.
